Hello everyone! I’m Sara and I have found myself, many times, trying to find complete book series summaries with spoilers of books I have read. Usually this happens when the next book in a series is coming out and I just want a reminder of what happened in the first few books. I mean, when an author publishes one book a year it may mean that it’s been years since I read the previous books! Most of what I found were reviews. That’s great and all but I want to know exactly what happened in the end! The full details that a review won’t give you! So I decided to start this blog with the help of my friend Stacy. Together we are trying to build this website into something useful for other book series junkies like us. If you would like to contribute complete book summaries let us know! Follow this link for more info…
Thanks for stopping by and checking out our book series summaries with spoilers!
Hi Sara! Thanks so much for this site…I read so many books, I forget things in between books. If I wanted to contribute, how would get a draft to you?
Thanks for your comment! I will email you more details about contributing.
You know this site and the idea is really great! Thank you very much
Lovely site! I’m sure I’ll be back at some point!
Omg yaaaasssss, I have been waiting for this for years! Hallelujah!
Great idea! I’ve always wanted something like this. I can’t wait to see it grow!
Great idea! I just found your site and it was really helpful. If I want to, how do I contribute summaries too?
I’m sorry if Sara has already responded to this and that I’m just now seeing it! If you haven’t heard from either of us yet, the form for submissions is near the bottom of this page: http://www.bookseriesrecaps.com/author-book-series-list/
We would love to hear from you! 🙂
Thank you so much for this site! I always try to find summaries to jog my memory so I was pretty surprised (and pleased) when this popped up. You’re doing great work here.
I have said this, but this site is a brilliant idea. The recaps are so helpful. We have all been there, wanting to jump in the book but a little forgetful after a year since the previous book. I would be interested in contributing. Email me with details or if you are interested in additional contributors. Thanks for the site!

Thank you so much!! This is a great site. Really saves time spent re-reading a book, especially when you can’t wait to start reading the latest one.
I love this site. I am just about to start the sequel the “An Ember in the Ashes,” and I needed a good synopsis. I love series, but I forget between releases the fine details. I just read your synopsis of “An Ember in the Ashes,” and it was great! I tried to print it (to have it on hand, you know!), but it came out wonky. Can this be corrected?
Hi Sara and Stacey
I love your website and I think it is easy to use, helpful and one of a kind.
What book series will you be next recapping? Because there are some really good book series but they aren’t on the website.
So far, we have only written recaps for active series (those that still have at least one book yet to be published). A few new series that we hope to recap soon are as follows: Riders by Veronica Rossi, Ivory and Bone by Julie Eshbaugh, Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake, Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor, and This Savage Song by Victoria Schawb. If there are some other active series that you would like to suggest, we would love to hear from you! 🙂 And if there are any recaps you would like to help us with, please submit your recap near the bottom of this page: http://www.bookseriesrecaps.com/author-book-series-list/
Great Site,
While I myself am not an avid book reader, there are some series of books that I want to read and your recaps really help me see which first books in a series I like in order to start reading the actual book and start the series as it goes on.
Thank you so much for this easy to use, helpful and simple design site.
Thank you so much ! I’m French and your website is really useful & beautiful ! 🙂
(Request -if possible of course ^^ – I’m looking for a book recap of A book of spirits and thieves, because I don’t remember very well the first novel and I would really like to read The Darkest Magic)
Thank you again and have a nice day 🙂

Psychological Crime Thriller
BLOOD MOON: Inspired by a true story of kidnapping, torture, extortion and murder the novel gives the reader a vivid look at true evil as well as courage and the will to live. The novel includes a Foreword by the only surviving victim of the crime and an Afterword by the private investigator who was instrumental in solving the case. There is also an addendum with pages from the original deposition given by the PI to the prosecuting and defense attorneys.
The novel was released by Tell-Tale Publishing on Dec. 4. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hi so i was wondering what happened to Aaron Stewart did he ……..die
Today is my birthday and I consider discovering your site, one of the highlights of my day!!!.
I specially appreciate the recaps as they help me remember details of the previous books I enjoyed before I read the new editions.
Keep up the good work
Hey there. I really love the idea of this site. I just read up on “The Wrath and the Dawn” so that I can begin reading “The Rose and the Dagger.” I’d love to be able to contribute if you would like another reviewer. I do reviews for a review site put on by a university near me. So I’m already reading a whole bunch of YA and children’s books for them. I’d love to do these recaps for others that, like me, are just trying to find out what happened in the first book when the next book finally comes out.
Abigail, this sounds great! We would love for you to review and recap. If you would like, you can create an account on our website so that I can find your email address and we can talk more. Or, you could also go to our website and click on Series List > Contribute to submit your work. That will also provide an email address. Look forward to chatting more about this! -Sara
I just found your site, and I love it! What a wonderful idea, especially with how many continuing world series we’re getting in the YA genre right now.
It’s so difficult to keep up!
Question: do you want recaps for the final books in series (like Winter by Marissa Meyer)? Additionally, if a series is completed now, would you still be interested in receiving recaps to post?
I would love to contribute a (or several, since I’m a book nerd who takes intense notes while reading lol) detailed summary!

It is so wonderful that u guys set out to do something amazing. Ive been looking for something like this site for years and it is the best one yet. Thank you for a wonderful contribution to the internet and I hope I can submit some reviews to help. Keep up the good work, you’re doing something amazing.
This is the kind of website I have been looking for! For the exact reason you started it. 🙂
Thanks Gina! Glad it’s useful!
Thank you so much for your recap of The Bear and the Nightingale! I had read it long, long ago and of course forgotten most of it. Then I read The Girl in the Tower, and loved it. So I went back and re-read The Bear. I gave both books to my 13 year old granddaughter. She found The Bear dry going and was ready to give up on it. I realized that “the good stuff” begins with Chapter 14. So I gave her your summary up to that point. She read the summary, dived back into The Bear at Chapter 14, and loved it! Now she’s onto The Girl in the Tower!
This is great Arty! Glad the recap was helpful!
I just love the idea.. honestly i always wanted something like this to recap the series.. When you read multiple series at a time its hard to keep tabs on the story when the next book comes around. I would LOVE to contribute too..How can I contribute to the site?

Just wanted to let you guys know I love this website and appreciate all you do! There’s a great young adult Christian book out: The Neverborn: A Young Adult Dystopian Novel by B.B. Brighton. Can you include it?
