Cassandra Clare revealed the cover of the first book in her new series, Dark Artifices at her solo panel at Comic-Con New York on October 9th. The first book is called Lady Midnight and is going to be about Emma Carstairs and her parabatai Julian Blackthorn. (Read the full description of Lady Midnight here..) Clare let us know that the book is going to be a massive 600 pages long. I can’t wait to get my hands on this book!

Before the book is published we will be adding an “everything you need to know” post about all crucial events leading up to the start of Lady Midnight.   I love how all of the books overlap.  Emma was introduced in the last Mortal Instruments book so we’ll let you know what is important to remember going forward into the new series, Dark Artifices.
