No spoilers in this rapid review of My Favorite Color is Mistletoe by Eva Austin.
My Favorite Color is Mistletoe is a fun, cute, and clean teen Christmas romance book. It’s appropriate for even the youngest romance readers. Teens and young adults will love this no-spice YA Christmas rom-com book. You won’t find any “spicy scenes,” foul language, or innuendo. This book is perfect for readers who love sweet love stories, YA rom-com, and all the cozy Christmas feels.
The story follows Audrey and Jax as they wrap up their fall semester on campus. When Jax realizes they both need significant others for their various holiday events, he suggests a double fake date for the weekend. Audrey thinks it’s a terrible idea, but when she learns her long-time childhood crush will be at her family’s Christmas gathering in Carlton Landing, she accepts the deal. I loved watching these two characters try not to fall for each other. Because what do you do when you know everything is fake, but it starts to feel real?
