No spoilers in this rapid review of My Favorite Color is The Golden Hour by Eva Austin.
My Favorite Color is the Golden Hour is a cute and wholesome contemporary YA romance book that’s perfect for even the youngest romance readers. Teens and tweens will love this fall-themed clean teen romance book. (I’m an adult, and I loved it too!) You won’t find any “spicy scenes,” foul language, or innuendo. This book is perfect for readers who love crisp leaves, pumpkin spice, sweet love stories, and all things cozy.
The story follows Emma and Bryson, former best friends, who accidentally reunite after three years. Bryson wants to be friends again, but Emma can’t let go of the past. Trouble seems imminent when they’re placed on the same committee for the Carlton Landing fall festival, but Emma slowly realizes she may have been wrong all along. Will she finally forgive? I loved the journey and the slow unveiling of what really happened when they were younger.
